Security Officers Arrested Peter Obi In Great Britain
Authorities in the United Kingdom have detained the presidential candidate of the LP party, Peter Obi on suspicion of committing some crimes.
Obi was said to have been detained for hours and questioned by security forces after he landed at Heathrow Airport on Friday morning.
Prof. Chinyere Okunna, vice chancellor of Paul Awka University, who is Obi's best friend, disclosed this on Wednesday morning.
Okunna, who worked with Obi as Commissioner for Information, Commissioner for Planning and Economic Affairs, said Obi who lived a dignified life in the UK, it is surprising that he was arrested.
He said that there are signs that they want to smear him since he refused to trust the results of the 2023 presidential election that was held in February.
If it is to be remembered, Obi's voice went out where he was heard urging a pastor to help him win the 2023 election.
However, the Federal Government criticized Obi for the words he made in the recorded audio of his phone call with the pastor, where the government said this was treason.
