The Nigerian Ambassador to Sudan has given patience to parents and students

The Nigerian Ambassador to Sudan, Ambassador Safiu Olaniyan, said that the embassy is waiting for the approval of the Egyptian and Nigerian governments before passing the trucks that took the citizens from Sudan, through the Egyptian border.


In a voice message he sent to the agency that oversees Nigerians living abroad, Mr. Olaniyan said what is needed for those on the Sudan-Egypt border is the facilitation of the authorities, and all that needs to be done about with that it was done.


He added that the embassy is not responsible for providing the vehicles.


He said that the office was following the instructions of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs that provided emergency aid to NEMA.


The Nigerian ambassador also assured the parents and students that the embassy officials in the city of Khartoum are with the citizens in this difficult situation of war.


Mr. Olaniyan also called on those who will be detained to refrain from attacking the embassy officials, as was previously rumored, saying that no embassy official will leave Sudan until confirm the evacuation of all citizens.
