A Widow Who Was Protecting Her Daughter In Kano Was Arrested By The Police
Rahma Sulaiman, a 25-year-old widow, has been arrested by the Kano State Police for reportedly kidnapping her 6-year-old daughter Hafsat Kabiru and demanding a ransom of 3 million naira from the girl's father, Kabiru Shehu.
The head of the Kano State Police, CP Usaini Muhammad Gumel, told the media that Kabiru Shehu told them about the event on May 8.
Kabiru Shehu told the Kano State Police that his ex-wife Rahma told him that his daughter Hafsat Kabiru had gone missing and that someone had called her to ask for 3 million naira as a ransom.
The Kano State Police Commissioner said that the girl was saved in Kano state's Madobi local government. Her mother was caught, and she later admitted that she had done what was wrong.
