According to WHO, measles has killed 73 individuals in Nigeria.


Since the start of this year, measles has infected 557 people, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO), killing 73 of them.

According to a study issued by the organization on Wednesday, the illness has spread to 21 states in Nigeria.

Children as young as five years old and adults over 60 years old can both suffer from asthma.

According to the WHO, the state of Kano has the largest number of infected people (1,118), followed by Yobe (97), Katsina (61), Lagos (25), Sokoto (14), and Zamfara (one).

According to the data, there were 1,439 suspected cases of dysentery between May 14, 2022, and April 9, 2023, during which time 73 people died as a result of the illness.
