An anesthesiologist who is accused of raping a pregnant lady during a C-section may have also raped two other mothers on the same day.

Police think that the same anesthetist who raped a pregnant woman while she was under anesthesia and having a cesarean in Brazil also did the same thing to two other mothers on the same day.

An anesthesiologist who is accused of raping a pregnant lady during a C-section may have also raped two other mothers on the same day.

Giovanni Quintella Bezerra, who is 32 years old, was arrested on suspicion of rape after he was said to have been secretly filmed orally raping a woman at the Hospital da Mulher in So Joo de Meriti, Rio de Janeiro, after giving her a lot of medicine to make her sleepy.

The woman's husband was told to leave the room without being able to see his infant baby. He didn't find out what had happened to his wife until he saw the doctor on TV after he had been arrested.

Delegate Barbara Lomba, who is in charge of looking into the case, said, "I've never seen anything like it."

The woman told her family that she thought she was seeing things during the attack.

Just two months ago, Mr. Bezerra finished his study in anesthesia as a doctor.

Staff at the hospital were worried about how much medicine he was giving to his patients, so they put a hidden camera on him to see what he was up to.

They were shocked to see him sexually abusing the woman while other doctors gave her a C-section a few feet away behind a curtain.

He allegedly beat her up for nearly ten minutes.

But the staff members who recorded the rape said that the doctor had already done two similar procedures that day. Police are now looking into whether the other two women were also attacked.

Employees said that during the second surgery on Sunday, Giovanni wore an open robe, which made him look bigger, and stood in a way that kept anyone from seeing the patient from the neck up.

Most C-sections don't put the woman to sleep completely, but the women who had them earlier in the day said they were completely out during the process.

"His voice is the only thing I remember from the surgery. One of the patients said, "It bothered me that he kept whispering in my ear." "He asked me if I was all right."

Since the claims were made public, two more people who said they were also Bezerra's patients went to the police station in Brazil.

"Giovanni, who was still facing the patient's neck and head, began making slow back-and-forth movements with his left arm bent," the witness told G1 Rio de Janeiro.

"The way his arm moved and how it was bent made it look like he was holding the patient's head toward his pelvic area."

When the doctor used so much anesthesia that the mothers couldn't touch their babies after giving birth, the staff started to worry.

The head of Cremerj, Clovis Bersot Munhoz, said Clovis Bersot Munhoz called the supposed attack "ridiculous."
