Early Years
Anthony Michael Anthony Thomas Charles Hall was born in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, on April 14, 1968. Mercedes, his mother, was a blues and jazz singer, and Larry, his father, ran a car body shop. Anthony's parents split up when he was only 6 months old, and when he was 3, his mother took him to the West Coast. They went back to the East Coast in less than two years and ended up living in New York City. Hall pleaded no answer to a lesser charge of misdemeanor assault, and in September 2017, he was sentenced to three years of probation and 40 hours of community service.
Anthony started The Anthony Michael Hall Literacy Club, which helps at-risk kids learn how to read and write and gives them one-on-one training.
