APC has distanced itself from tinubu's visit to Governor Wike in Rivers
The APC Rivers State Branch has distanced itself from the opening visit of major state development projects that Governor Nyesom Wike invited the President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
Tinubu accepted the invitation for a two-day visit to Rivers to inaugurate the flyover and the court buildings which were built by Governor Nyesom Wike.
Wike has already declared that today Wednesday is a day off, and he called on the public to come out and welcome Tinubu.
In a statement issued by the APC Media Spokesperson for Rivers State, Darlington Nwauju, he said that they have nothing to do with Tinubu's visit to Rivers, it is his own. He said APC has distanced itself from the visit.
"We are challenging the outgoing governor, Wike, to stop interfering in the politics of divisiveness. Because there is nothing he is doing in Rivers except dividing the heads of APC members.
"We are aware of how Wike is showing the world that APC is dead in Rivers State, even though he has repeatedly stated in previous interviews that he will never do anything with APC. because it is a party with cancer.
If it is not forgotten, during the election campaign, Tinubu had to pay Wike a visit at the Rivers State Government House.
It was there that Wike advised Tinubu and told him not to lose his money in the governorship election because the APC candidate in the state will not be able to win anything.
