Aswad Ayinde: The Man Who Made His Daughters Pregnant
Aswad Ayinde, who was born on July 16, 1958 and is also known as Charles McGill, is an African American music director who has won a Grammy. He is best known for directing the music video for the Fugees' hit song "Killing Me Softly" in 1996, which made him popular. After he was found guilty of sexually abusing his children, things went from bad to worse in his life.

Aswad Ayinde became well-known after he made a music video for "Killing Me Softly," the Fugees' 1996 smash hit. But behind the music world, Ayinde is a sexual predator who would sneak into his daughters' bedrooms at night to teach them "how to be a woman." He turned his girls into sex toys for no good reason.
According to one of his daughters, Aziza Kibibi, her father started raping her when she was only 8 years old. Since then, he continued to do the same thing to his other female children for almost 30 years before he left his wife.
This is what his second daughter, Aziza, said about the first time her father kissed her in 1986. To get his girls to believe him, Ayinde tells them that he will make them better women through what he does. This is what the children thought about until they grew up.
Why did Aswad Ayinde give his daughter a boyfriend?
You might be curious about why Ayinde decided to do such things. Well, Ayinde thought the world was going to end, and he and his children would be the only ones left. He said that he and his family were chosen to make "a pure family bloodline," and the only way he can do that is by making his girls pregnant.
Because of this, he treated his girls in ways that were cruel. He kept them from talking by hitting them with wooden sticks or kicking them with steel-toed boots. Pregnant girls had to have their babies at home and he delivered them. They weren't allowed to play with other kids, and at most, they were homeschooled.
Most people find incest awful, but it's a well-kept secret in the homes of those who do it. Ayinde's family was afraid to talk about their situation for a long time because they were afraid of what would happen. Beverly, Aswad Ayinde's wife, said, "I was afraid to ever call him crazy or a pedophile. I knew the word, but I wouldn't dare use it because I'd get beat up."
Ayinde also took advantage of his oldest daughter's desire to keep her younger brothers safe from sodomy by forcing her to give in to his outrageous sexual demands. She had no choice but to stop fighting back and let him rape her because she had no other choice. Aside from that, court records show that the man who called himself a prophet had six children with his daughters over the years. He also had nine children with his first wife, Beverly, and three more with two other women.
In 2000, Ayinde's family moved to Florida to avoid being investigated after workers removed several children from the Ayinde household. He was arrested for kidnapping and for trying to take them from state custody in a medical center. In 2005, Aziza Kibibi and her mother decided to end their pain and fear by telling the police about Ayinde. Since Ayinde was out of the country on a work trip, this was kind of easy for them to do.
Then, in 2011, Aswad Ayinde was charged with 27 crimes, including aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, lewdness, putting a child in danger, aggravated criminal sexual contact, and criminal sexual contact. He was given a 40-year prison term. By 2013, he got an extra 50 years in prison for raping Aziza Kibibi, who was 8 years old at the time. This added up to 90 years in prison. Aswad Ayinde is serving his 90-year prison sentence right now, but he still has to face 3 more charges for different crimes.
