Girls from the Zamfara Health College were Been kidnapped
Four female students at the Zamfara State College of Health Sciences were taken by robbers on Tuesday night, the police in Zamfara state said.
A local told BBC News that the attackers went to the house where the students live, which is near the school in Tsafe town after they found the college's security officers.
Yusuf Idris Maradun, the head of the college, said that five students were taken by the bandits, but that one of them was later set free because she could not walk because she had hurt her legs.
The police in Zamfara state said that the security forces did everything they could to save the students who were taken from the house they rented in the town of Tsafe while they were sleeping.
