Lisa Marie Presley's 4 Kids: Everything to Know
Lisa Marie Presley was best known as Elvis Presley's daughter, but she also had four kids of her own: Riley Keough, Benjamin Keough, Finley Lockwood, and Harper Lockwood.
The singer, who died on January 12 at age 54 after being taken to the hospital for a possible heart attack, said she was "ferociously protective" of her children. "I just smother them in love," she told Healthy Living in 2014 when they asked her about her parenting style. "Their needs come first. I do just that. That's the most important thing to me. I make sure they are happy and healthy and stay close to me."
Lisa Marie and her ex-husband Danny Keough had two children, Riley and Benjamin. They were married from 1988 to 1994. In 2008, she and her then-husband Michael Lockwood had twin girls, Harper and Finley. In 2016, they got a divorce.
Benjamin killed himself in July 2020. His mother, Lisa Marie, was "beyond devastated" by her son's death. She was open about her sadness in the years that followed. On Benjamin's birthday, she posted tributes, and in 2022, she wrote an emotional article for PEOPLE about the loss.
"It's a real choice to keep going, and it's a choice I have to make every day. To say the least, it's always hard." But I keep going for my girls," she wrote for National Grief Awareness Day. "I keep going because my son made it clear in his last moments that taking care of and watching out for his little sisters was the most important thing to him. He loved them very much, and they loved him too."
Lisa Marie passed out at her home in Calabasas, California, two days after going to the 2023 Golden Globes in early January. After EMTs came to the singer's house and gave her CPR, she was taken to a nearby hospital. Soon after, her mother, Priscilla Presley, told PEOPLE in a statement that her daughter had died.
Priscilla said, "It's with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has died."
"She was the most loving, strong, and passionate woman I've ever met. We'd like to be left alone while we try to deal with this terrible loss. We appreciate your love and thoughts. At this time, we have nothing more to say."
Lisa Marie was buried next to her son Benjamin at Graceland. On January 22, 2023, her funeral was held on the front lawn of the famous house. "Riley, Harper, Finley, and Priscilla are grateful for the support, well wishes, and outpouring of love in honor of their beloved Lisa Marie," a spokesperson for Riley told PEOPLE in a statement.
At the funeral, Priscilla gave a speech about the person who had died. She began with a quote that she said one of her granddaughters had written.
"I don't know how to describe my mother. In reality, there are way too many. Lisa Marie Presley was an icon, a role model, and a superhero for many people all over the world, but my mother was my icon, my role model, and my superhero in more ways than one. Priscilla read. "'Even now, I can't say everything there is to know or understand about her, but as she always said, I'll do my best,'"
Lisa Marie gave her three children her trust, which has Elvis' Graceland property and 15 percent of Elvis' estate. But on January 26, 2023, Priscilla's lawyers filed a petition that questioned the "authenticity and validity" of Lisa Marie's will. They said that a 2016 change that gave the trust to her three children was not legal.
According to the petition, Priscilla hopes that the courts will instead respect a change Lisa Marie made in 2010 that made Priscilla a co-trustee along with her former business manager Barry Siegel.
"Lisa's intention was very clear," a source told PEOPLE about her wish for her children to receive her trust. "Lisa didn't think that Priscilla was looking out for her best interests at all."
Multiple sources told PEOPLE in March 2023 that Priscilla and Riley hardly talk to each other and "do not see eye to eye" about the trust. The Daisy Jones & The Six actress is also upset that her grandma invited Lockwood to her mother's funeral.
"Michael was not invited," said a close friend of Lisa Marie's to PEOPLE. "He came to Memphis under the guise that he had to watch over the twins, and Priscilla helped him get in. Michael's presence would have been the last thing Lisa Marie would have wanted."

Riley Keough is 33 years old.
On May 29, 1989, Lisa Marie and her husband at the time, Danny, had their first child, a girl named Danielle Riley Keough. Riley has said that her mother and grandma let her be her own person and not live in the shadow of her famous grandfather when she was growing up. Riley told Oprah Winfrey in September 2007 that she knew who her grandfather was when she was young, but that it wasn't "this huge thing."
That doesn't mean that Riley hasn't been very interested in Elvis. When Riley's mother and grandma went with her to the premiere of her movie Mad Max: Fury Road, they were called "the Presley women."

Benjamin Storm Presley Keough, Lisa Marie and Danny's second child was born on October 21, 1992. As he got older, fans noticed how much he looked like his grandpa, Elvis.
But Benjamin took his own life in Calabasas, California, when he was 27 years old. After hearing about his death in July 2020, a representative for Lisa Marie told PEOPLE, "She is completely heartbroken, unable to cry, and beyond devastated, but she is trying to be strong for her twins, who are 11 years old, and her oldest daughter, Riley. She loved that boy." He was her greatest love."
Benjamin's friend Brandon Howard talked to PEOPLE about Benjamin's struggles with mental health and the "pressure" to live up to the Presley name. "Sometimes he struggled with depression, which is a serious problem with [the COVID-19 pandemic] and everything going on right now and everyone being locked in the house," he said. "It's hard when your family puts a lot of pressure on you and you have to live up to a name and an image. There is a lot of stress. It's almost like you feel like you have to be a singer or an actor. We haven't been able to figure out if there was a crime in Tennessee, so there isn't an open case. The office also made it clear that there was never a formal investigation. Instead, there was only an investigation to "see if there was enough evidence to open a case."
In October 2017, Lisa Marie attended an ELLE Women in Hollywood event with her three children. This was the first time Lisa Marie took all three girls to a public event.

A few hours after the meeting, the judge agreed to Lockwood's request and made him the guardian ad litem for the twins.
