How the coronation of Charles III happened

At the service at Westminster Abbey, 90 heads of state, kings, and queens from all over the world were present.

On Saturday, hundreds of thousands of people lined the streets of London to see King Charles III get crowned. Millions of people around the world watched the ceremony on TV and online.

At the service in Westminster Abbey, 90 heads of state, kings, and queens from all over the world were there.

Buckingham Palace said that 203 countries sent representatives to the event to name King Charles, who is now 74 years old. He became crown prince when his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, took the throne when he was only three years old.

After his mother died on September 8, 2016, Charles took the throne.

On Saturday morning, King Charles III and Queen Camilla rode in a famous golden carriage from Buckingham Palace to Westminster.

Even though it was raining hard, hundreds of people lined up in the way the King will go, just like they did when Queen Elizabeth II died eight months ago.
