Sudan: 131 Nigerians landed in Abuja
Friday, a second group of 130 people from Port Sudan arrived in Abuja.
Saturday, the third group of Nigerians who were trying to get away from the fighting in Sudan landed in Abuja, the country's capital.
"A plane with 124 adults and seven babies from Port Sudan landed at 1:45 p.m. at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja." On Saturday, NIDCOM, the body in charge of Nigerians living abroad, posted a message on its Twitter page.
Friday, a second group of 130 people from Port Sudan arrived in Abuja.
Since last week, Nigeria has joined the rest of the world in sending its people out of a conflict-torn country.
The national forces and the RSF special forces have been fighting since April 15. Each side is trying to take control of the country.
During the war, at least 400 people died and thousands more were hurt.
