Makarfi's alleged expulsion from the PDP is untrue, according to President
The PDP party in Kaduna State has distanced itself from claims that it suspended Senator Mohammed Ahmed Makarfi, its former national interim chairman, for allegedly misusing the party's name in the state during the most recent election.
At a news conference over the weekend, the chairman of the Makarfi Local Government's Tudun Wada District announced that the former governor of Kaduna State, Senator Makarfi, and Alhaji Magaji Jarma had been suspended from their positions due to charges of corruption. - Games at parties, etc.
Mr. Felix Hassan Hyet, the state PDP chairman, told the press on Monday that the suspension was a joke and labeled those responsible as disloyal and patriotic party members.
