The police arrested the young man suspected of killing his mother in Kano

Ibrahim Musa, who is believed to have killed his mother in Kano, has been detained, according to the police in the state of Kano.

The young man was detained in his hiding place in the Dawakin Tofa local government of Kano state, according to a statement made by SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the state police force's spokesperson.

According to Kiyawa, the young man admitted to the alleged offense and claimed he was dealing with intoxicating substances.

Now that the inquiry is complete, he will be taken to court.

According to reports from yesterday, the young man allegedly used a knife to stab his mother, who was 50, in the head, chest, and other areas of the body before fleeing the scene.
