Tinubu Went To Europe 19 Days Before Taking Oath
The President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu traveled to Europe this Wednesday for an official visit.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Spokesperson of the President-elect, Tunde Rahman.
The statement said that Tinubu, who has been covered up by some of his servants, will use the event to observe the plans for the transfer of power to him and his plans without any incident distracting him.
"During the visit of the President-elect, he will meet with investors and major business partners to create investment opportunities in the country under his rule, where new business plans have been prepared," according to the announcement.
Before his departure, Tinubu met with the Honorable Tajudeen Abbas and the Honorable Benjamin Kalu who are being supported by the APC to become the Speaker of the House of Representatives and his deputy.
Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria before his inauguration as the new President on May 29.
Tinubun's trip comes less than two weeks after a trip he made where he spent more than a month abroad.
The incident has caused rumors that he is ill that made him travel, and he has denied that he is healthy enough to lead the country's leadership.
