Ukrainian gymnasts boycotted the boxing match in Qatar because of Russia

Gymnasts from Ukraine will not compete in this month's judo competition, which will be held in Qatar, in protest of the presence of Russian and Belarussian competitors.

The World Judo Federation has decided to permit gymnasts from Belarus and Russia to compete as individuals but not as national representatives.

The Judo Boxing Federation of Ukraine announced on Monday that it will not take part in the competition if these two nations are present.

This is a result of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
