When the dust settled, the Sudanese envoy urged Nigerians to return.

The Sudanese ambassador to Nigeria, Muhammad Yusuf, has advised Nigerians returning from the dangerous country of Sudan to be patient and return when circumstances are better.

Following the end of the fighting between the army and the RSF troops on Thursday, Mr. Yusuf advised several Nigerians who had returned to the country to resume their studies and start their businesses.

He urged them to see Sudan as their second country and expressed hope for a quick resolution to the war.

On Friday, some Nigerians who are stranded in Sudan are expected to board a flight back home.
