APC Condemns Abba's Destruction In Kano

The opposition party in Kano State, APC, has condemned what it says is "an attack on the community's property" by the NNPP government led by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in the state.

In a statement by the acting chairman of the party in Kano state, Hon. Shehu Maigari sent to the press, APC said "today Kano is a pity because of the situation the NNPP has thrown the state into".

The APC accused the NNPP and the Abba Gida-Gida government of putting businessmen in a difficult situation, saying that Kano's business activities have come to a standstill.

The APC also alleged that the action taken by the NNPP to demolish some businesses in the state has turned some youths in Kano into thieves, saying that the youths are walking around with weapons and breaking into people's shops to steal goods.

The opposition party also called on the parents of children, especially the youths who it says the NNPP government is using to destroy the community's property, to listen to their children.

The NNPP party together with Abba Gida-Gida have vowed to seize places that they say belong to the people of Kano but the APC government sold when it was in power of the state.
