Big Prayer: The Federal Government Has Offered A Prayer Holiday, 28th And 29th Of June

For this year's Sallah Babba celebration, the federal government has designated Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29, 2023 as public holidays.

Dr. Oluwatoyin Akinlade, secretary general of the ministry of interior, issued a statement on Monday in Abuja.

The statement urged the public to celebrate in a secure manner.

In a message on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the government greeted Muslims in Nigeria and Nigerians abroad, stating, "We hope that the Muslim community will pray during the holidays for the development of peace and stability in the country." The declaration said.
