Bill Gates and Dangote emphasized their intention to continue developing Niger's health sector
Bill Gates, the head of the Gates Foundation, and Aliko Dangote, the head of the Dangote Foundation, have both said that they want to work with the government of the Republic of Niger to improve the work they are doing to improve public health care in the country.
Bill Gates and Aliko Dangote told President Bazoum Mohammed of the Republic of Niger of their plans during a meeting at his palace in Birnin Yammai. They talked about many things, including the growth of the country.
Bill Gates said after the meeting that they mostly talked about the health care and development work they are doing in Niger. They also praised the government of Niger for the steps it is taking in the health sector, especially to fight polio and get young children vaccinated.
Gates said that his foundation and Dangote's will keep giving money to Niger to help them solve their health care issues.
The official thanked the government of Niger for working with them and said that the work they are doing on protection is helping to save the lives of thousands of people.
Gates also said that the government has promised to do something to get rid of polio in the whole country.
