Boko Haram kidnapped 30 shepherds
Some terrorists who are believed to be members of the Boko Haram group have kidnapped at least 30 herdsmen in some villages in the North East region of Nigeria.
Those who witnessed the incident said that the members of the armed group kidnapped the people in three villages in Nigeria around Lake Tchadi where they asked the families of the people to pay the ransom.
An eyewitness told the French news agency AFP that the herdsmen killed men and women, and the terrorists left a message for their families to pay 20 million Naira as ransom.
Since the separation of ISWAP from Boko Haram, the people of the villages around Lake Chadi have been paying taxes to the terrorists to carry out their farming and breeding activities.
