The New NNPP Government In Kano Is Paralyzing Business - APC
The APC Kano state branch has condemned the destruction of the NNPP government in Kano state, which it has described as destroying the economy.
In a press conference held by the party, she accused the Kano government of going too far in taking this step.
The deputy chairman of the party, Alhaji Shehu Maigari, urged those whose properties were destroyed to take sharia measures to recover their rights.
He said the action of the Kano government has made the youth engage in mischief by stealing public property and destroying property.
Since the beginning, the new governor of Kano, Abba Kabir Yusuf, himself led the demolition of some buildings that the government said were built illegally.
However, Alhaji Shehu Maigari said that Abdullahi Umar Ganduje's government was not the first to distribute land in Kano, where he requested the parents of children to warn their children who are stealing in the name of looting.
He said that the demolition of the buildings that were provided for the benefit of the people of Kano state is a matter of wishful thinking, where he called on the patriots to pray, as people are suffering huge losses of billions of naira at the moment.
He added that the disaster has crippled business activities, especially in Kwari and Kofar Wambai markets and other business areas in Kano state.
He also called on the security agencies in Kano State to step up their efforts to protect the lives and property of the community.
