Boko Haram killed 15 farmers in Borno

At least 15 people, including farmers, were killed in attacks on two villages in the Molai-General area of Jere local government in Borno state by people who may have been Boko Haram attackers.

Our reporter said that the terrorists struck Kofa village at midnight and kept shooting until Friday morning.

Intelligence sources say that the terrorists killed some people, and many people in the area ran away from their homes and into the bush.

Bukar Ali Musty, who is in charge of the Civilian Task Force (CJTF) in the area, said that the farmers who died were working on their farms when they were struck by terrorists.

"On Thursday, the farmers were working on their farms near Molai, outside of Maiduguri. They were attacked by terrorists, who cut off their heads.

At least 15 bodies were found and taken away this morning (Friday). The attacks happened yesterday (Thursday). "Seven farmers had their heads cut off while working in their fields, and eight others had their throats cut," he said.

A JTF source was worried about the killings and said that everyone needs to wake up to make sure they don't happen again.

"It's a shame, given how far we've come in the last few months without focusing on the community."

The person also said, "All the dead bodies we found were covered in blood, and I think we all need to stand up and crush these enemies of peace."
