Children's Parents Request Tinubu to Stop Increasing School Fees

The National Association of Children's Parents has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prevent the Ministry of Education from raising school fees by 100%, which are paid by students in the nation's public institutions and coed schools.

The organisation characterised the hike as a restriction that is out of date with President Tinubu's pledge to improve the lives of parents of young children as a result of the difficulty of eliminating gasoline subsidies.

Monday Eze, the national executive of the association, expressed his displeasure in a statement about the six scientific and technology institutions in the zones' lack of experienced teachers, dorms, and classrooms, as well as training in science and technology courses.

He asked the new administration to give the schools the facilities they need in order to develop them.
