China Rejects False Statements on HKSAR's National Security Law at UNHRC Meeting

Yesterday, China said that other countries' false claims about the national security law of the Hong Kong Special Region (HKSAR) were not true.

At the 53rd session of the United Nations Human Rights Committee, China's representative said that China strongly opposes any foreign country or enemy that tries to get involved in domestic matters and the legal system. Arta by keeping human rights a secret.

The Chinese official said that since the national security law was put into place, the Hong Kong area has changed from a chaotic place to a place where the law is followed and people are happy. He said that the rule of law has been emphasised again and that Hong Kong people's rights have been maintained in the right way.
