Egypt has tightened the way for Sudanese people to enter the country
Sudan has been embroiled in an intense conflict for about two months, which has created a significant humanitarian issue. Egypt has imposed harsher entry requirements for nationals of Sudan.
About 200 thousand civilians who escaped the violence entered Egypt, primarily by automobile, since the conflict in Sudan between the government troops and the volunteer forces of the RSF began on April 15.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed the new procedures for the entry of their neighbors into Egypt in a statement.
So far, women, children under 16, and other Sudanese people older than 50 have not been required to obtain visas in order to visit Egypt, according to the Egyptian authorities.
