Finally, Removal Of Fuel Subsidy Confirmed, NNPC Sells N537 Liter In Abuja

Nigeria has already stopped providing fuel subsidies after the NNPCL firm increased the price of its petrol pumps in Abuja to 537 Naira per liter on Wednesday morning.

The LEADERSHIP study revealed a similar situation in Lagos state, where the NNPC business is currently selling gasoline for Naira 488 per liter at its gas station in Abule-Egba, Lagos, while it is selling at Naira 511 per liter in Fatakwal state.

A liter of gasoline costs 537 naira in Plateau state at NNPC gas stations.

The prices at petrol stations have altered in all other states and across all businesses.

The controversial elimination of fuel subsidies has been clarified and assured by this modification by the national oil company.

According to the government, it spends around $10 billion annually on oil subsidies.
