Fintiri swears in Bamanga to drive the new SSG in Adamawa
On Tuesday, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the governor of Adamawa state, swore in Awwal Bamanga Tukur as secretary to the state government and Dr. Amos Edgar as chief of staff.
The governor also saw the swearing-in of Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General Barrister Afraimu Jingi, Chief Auditor Usman Ahmad, Chief of Staff Shehu Isa Ardo, and Chief Judge Hafsat Abdul Rahman.
During Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's swearing-in event, he said that he had faith in the people he had chosen.
He also said, "I hope you will work together with understanding and trust, and take steps to help the people of Adamawa."
Awwal Bamanga Tukur spoke on behalf of those who took the oath of office as Secretary to the State Government. He thanked the governor for letting them serve the people of the state.
As they took the oath, he also promised to do work based on truth and justice, so that the people will gain from the jobs they were given.
