In Sierra Leone's presidential election, Julius Maada Bio triumphed once more.
Samura Kamara of the All People's Congress (APC), who received 41.16 percent, was beaten by him.
President Julius Maada Bio has been proclaimed the victor of the presidential election that took place on Saturday by the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone.
President Bio of the Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP) received 56 percent of the votes cast, according to the results announced by the commission's director, Mohamed Konneh, on Tuesday in Freetown, the nation's capital.
Samura Kamara of the All People's Congress (APC), who received 41.16 percent, was beaten by him.
Former foreign minister Mr. Kamara referred to Monday's election as a "midday armed robbery" after declaring the results.
Foreign observers claimed there were irregularities in the results tally because the election was conducted under duress.
In 2018, Julius Maada Bio became the first candidate to win the presidency.
