The RSF has announced a ceasefire in Sudan
Shortly after 'taking' a significant police camp, the RSF declared a ceasefire.
Thanks to Babbar Sallah's assistance, the Sudanese RSF has declared a two-day ceasefire.
According to Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo, the commander of the RSF, "We have declared a ceasefire from our side, except in the case of self-defense, on the eve of prayer, and on the day of the Great Prayer."
On Monday, he made the announcement in a voice message that was recorded and posted to Facebook.
The truce is anticipated to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, but the Sudanese army has not yet indicated where it stands.
The RSF's leader is hoping that the prayer break will present a chance for peace among the Sudanese people.

Sudanese tourists who are undertaking the Hajj in Makkah are requesting peace for their nation.
As long as the conflict, which has been going on for almost three months, is stopped, the pronouncement of the head of the RSF appears to be a prayer that has started to be heard.
According to the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), the conflict between the army and the RSF has resulted in the relocation of 2.5 million people as well as the death of about 2,000 people.
There have been numerous calls for a cease-fire, but they have not been effective. The two belligerent parties accuse one another of breaking the contracts.
Dagalo added in reference to the current predicament and the origin of the conflict: "We hope to solve this problem by uniting and strengthening again."
