Sheep, goats, cows, and camels are among the creatures they charm. See Almuntak Sharhul Muwadda [4/160], Alma'natu [1/484], Akrabus Saliki [page 47], Assamarud Dan [pages 390-391], and Almuntak Sharhul Muwadda [4/160].

When sheep turn one year old and begin the second year, even if it is just a few days old, they are charmed. Even if they are just a month old, two-year-old or approaching-one-year-old goats have a second attack. When they are three years old or entering their fourth year, cows and camels are also decorated with them. Camels are decorated with them when they are five years old or entering their sixth year. At the latest, sheep that are six to ten months old can be adorned. Look at Alma'unatu [1/486] and Alqafi [pages 237–238].

Two or three year old cows are thought to be old enough to be decorated with them. Alma'unatu (page 486) and Alqafi (page 238).

A camel can be decorated for one day if it is five or six years old. Alkafi [238] and Sirajus Saliki [2/12].

Any animal that has not attained the aforementioned age is not allowed to be used to generate charms, and if it is, the charms are not created. Almudawanatul Kubra (610).

In Malikiyya, using sheep to make amulets is more advantageous than using animals or camels. View Akrabus Saliki on page 47 and Attalqn on page 211.

The Maliki school of thinking considers a ram with large horns that is white and black to be more auspicious. Almuqaddimut Muhimmt [1/336], take a look.

Avoid purchasing inferior animals, especially cows and camels, as worship is performed in accordance with God's will.
