.The Prime Minister of China met with the Director General of the WTO
Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, the director general of the World Trade Organisation, met with Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang on Monday in Tianjin.
Li Qiang stated during the conference that China is prepared to collaborate with all parties in order to maintain the system of free trade and international relations as well as to defend the legitimate rights and interests of developing nations. For her part, Ngozi Iweala stated that China has succeeded in its development since joining the WTO by enhancing the openness and support of the global trading system.
Additionally, Li Qiang met today with Klaus Schwab, the head of the World Economic Forum, and made clear that China is prepared to work with everyone to maintain the development of a just global economy.
