PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION CASE: Peter Obi handed over to the court the details of Voter Registration Card from 32 states

Peter Obi, the LP party's presidential candidate, gave the Presidential Electoral Appeals Court a bunch of copies of INEC Electoral Registration Cards from 32 states on Wednesday.

Livy Uzoukwu, who is Obi's Senior Counsel, gave copies of the number of voters and Voter Registration Cards from 32 states.

He also gave some information, which Kemi Pinheiro, the lawyer for INEC, did not contest.

This week, there was a lot of trouble because Tinubu's lawyers said that the problem INEC had with the IReV database might have been caused by software from Amazon.

The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, told the Presidential Electoral Appeals Court through his lawyers that Amazon's data storage is not sure and could have problems.

However, an Amazon engineer denied Tinubu's claim.

During the 2023 elections, AWS Inc., which is part of Amazon, gave INEC access to the IReV Election Results Collection Software.

Atiku and Peter Obi both took issue with the fact that the election results were not shown on IReV, as INEC had promised to do.

A week earlier, Peter Obi had said that the court had loaded 18,000 copies of the election result papers from IReV, which he said were all over the place and hard to read. This caused the controversy.

Peter Obi, who is running for president in 2023 as a member of the LP party, has kept sending the Presidential Electoral Appeals Court a lot of proof that he needs to prove in order to win in court.

Peter Obi made it easy for the court to load 18,000 copies of the election result papers from IReV, which he said were scattered and hard to read, on Thursday, when the session continued.

This is proof from a software expert with a computer privacy license that the 18,000 pages are all hidden, so you can't see the results of the votes on them.

Onyechi Ikpeazu, Peter Obi's lawyer, called Erik Uwadiagwu as a witness. Uwadiagwu looked at the results in the IReV Election Results Database, INEC.

Obi asked Uwadiagwu to speak in court. Uwadiagwu is a professor of mathematics at Nnamdi Azikwe University in Awka, Anambra State, and he came to court to do so.

Before he could start to explain, as the main witness for Peter Obi, he had to take an oath of atonement with the Governor.

He said that he had looked at 18,000 IReV pages from the Electoral Results Collection Software, which is where INEC sends copies of the election results from the Electoral Registration Verification Machine, or BVAS.
