Prigozhin said he did not march to overthrow the Russian leadership

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the commander of the Wagner troops, claimed that when he announced that his forces would march to Moscow, he did not criticise Putin, saying: "We did not march to overthrow the Russian leadership."

"The purpose of the trip is to avoid defaming Wagner and to reflect on officials who, through their unethical actions, have made many mistakes," he stated in his 11-minute video message.

Wagner, according to him, felt bad for "interfering with Russian aviation" and that they had changed.According to Prigozhin, he did not march to unseat the Russian government.
