Authorities claimed that more security personnel have been stationed nearby.
According to reports, 135 people were killed on Sunday amid bandit assaults in a few villages in Plateau State.
At least four villages in Kanam Local Government were attacked by the motorbike-wielding assailants, who continued to shoot at residents, set homes on fire, and steal cattle.
The state's authorities have yet to release any comprehensive information on the attacks.
A local traditional chief, however, informed the BBC that 34 dead had already been discovered in Gyambau village and 54 bodies had already been discovered in Kukawa village.

Following the incident, numerous persons went missing and hundreds were forced to leave their homes.
The locals claimed that it took the security personnel almost a full day to rescue them.
