The Kano Assembly has identified 17 of the 19 commissioners sent to it by the governor

The governor of the state, Abba Kabir Yusuf, sent the Kano State House of Assembly a list of 19 names for commissioners. The House of Assembly accepted 17 of those names.

At a meeting on Thursday, the speaker of the state parliament, Ismail Falgore, led the council to agree on the names.

The state governor sent 19 people to the parliament, but only 17 of them were accepted. Sheikh Tijjani Auwal and Hajiya Aisha Soji did not go to the parliament because they were on a pilgrimage.

After judging the commissioners, the attention is now on the ministries they will run after they are sworn in.
