The police who give hands on the street will be given much salary
Usman Alkali Baba, who is the Inspector General of the National Police, has asked that the officers who work on road and traffic control be evaluated on how well they do their jobs so that they can be moved to the next level.
CSP Olumiyiwa Adejobi, the force's spokesman, said in a statement yesterday that the review was part of the promotion process for officers.
He said that the National Inspector of Police had told him that the police officers doing right-hand work should be moved up to the next post based on how well they do their jobs and what kind of education certificates they have.
The National Police's spokesman said that this is part of the force's plan to help the cops get the training they need.
