The Russian defense minister appeared on television for the first time after the Wagner uprising

According to the RIA news agency on Monday, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu paid a visit to the nation's servicemen engaged in combat in Ukraine.

Since the battles between Wagner and the Russian army, this is the first time the minister has been on television.

According to pictures that have been made public, Shoigu met with a Russian army officer in Ukraine after receiving harsh criticism from Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of Wagner's army.

A statement from the Ministry of National Defence claimed that the minister had a meeting and declared that finding and destroying Ukraine's army's weaponry was a big success.
