The United Nations has asked the UK to stop the issue of sending asylum seekers to Rwanda

The British government has been urged to rethink its decision to transport asylum seekers to Rwanda by the United Nations Commission on Human Rights.

The decision was made when the London Court of Appeal declared the action unlawful.

The agency's chief commissioner, Volker Türk, stated that the British programme has raised questions about the rules defending refugees and human rights.

The UK should consider other options, including collaboration with European nations, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), which applauded the court's ruling.

The British government intends to file an appeal with the Supreme Court, arguing that it has the power to use tiny planes to block migrant entry.
