Togo is leading a conference on the use of modern fertilizers and the improvement of agriculture
An international conference on the use of modern fertilizers in agriculture and the advancement of West African agriculture has been convened by the government of Togo.
The conference was launched in the Republic of Niger in 2021, which sparked the development of agriculture throughout the nation, after a considerable amount of time was spent by agricultural professionals conducting research on the effects of modern fertilizers and their application.
In order to improve farms and give farmers new methods, the meeting today is anticipated to discuss the advancements in agricultural technology and assure the sustainable production of fertilizers.
The World Bank and the International Center for Sustainable Development are providing support for the one-day symposium.
The meeting's attendees included Bazoum Mohammed, the president of the Republic of Niger.
