A bomb attack killed six people in Borno
After the ISWAP bomb strike on Damboa town in Borno state, at least six people—including a woman—died and numerous more were wounded.
According to reports, the assailants stopped on the Waluri bridge in Damboa town around 8:30 last night and attacked the JTF security troops camp from there.
A security source said that after being prevented from entering the town to launch an attack, he forced the rebels to bomb it.
Seven farmers were killed by rebels seven years ago near the town of Damboa.
But there hasn't been a similar attack in the area in two years.
