A strange insect drove the residents of Gayawa Gandu from their homes in Kano State
Gayawa Gandu town residents in Kano State's Ungoggo Local Government Area have asked that the state government take quick action to eradicate some worms that have forced them to leave their houses.
Ibrahim Umar and Jamila Abdullahi, two town residents, told Arewa Radio that since previous night, worms have been invading the region and forcing people to flee their homes.
The locals did however note that their entire families had left their homes.
They also requested assistance from the government in dealing with the worms since they are concerned for their health and property.
