Abbas informed the leaders of the House of Representatives

Usman Kumo (Gombe) was named Speaker of the House and Julius Ihonvbere (Edo) was named Majority Leader, according to Tajudeen Abbas, Speaker of the House of Representatives.

In addition, Abbas appointed Oriyomi Onanuga of Ogun as the Deputy Speaker and Halims Abdulahi of Kogi as the Deputy Majority Leader.

Following Ali Isah (Gombe), who whipped the minority, Madaki Aliyu (NNPP, from Kano), and George Adegeye (LP, Lagos), who served as deputy minority leaders, the Speaker of the House named Kingsley Chinda (PDP, from Rivers) as the minority leader.

This was said by Abbas during Tuesday's session of parliament.
