Akpabio Appoints Bamidele, Ndume, Umahi and Asiru to Senior Positions in the Senate

The names of people chosen for important positions in the 10th Senate have been released by Godswill Akpabio, the Senate's president.

Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, the majority leader of the Senate, is one of those chosen.

Bamidele is the senator that represents Ekiti Central.

Others include Deputy Majority Leader Senator David Umahi of Ebonyi South.

Senator Lola Ashiru, who represents Kwara South, is the deputy reprover in the Senate, while Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, a former leader of the majority party in the 8th Senate, is the current reprover.
