China will invest 36 billion dollars in Algeria

Africa is increasingly feeling the economic influence of China, particularly in the manufacturing, mining, and technology sectors.

According to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, China will spend 36 billion dollars in Algeria in the areas of industry, new technology, economy, transport, and agriculture.

At a meeting with leaders of Algerian communities living in China, Tebboune said, "The projects and agreements reached with China are big, and all countries will benefit from them."

President Tebboune met with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday while on an official visit to China that began at the start of this week.

On Thursday, the president of Algeria stated that his nation wants to see China and Algeria's economic ties reach a level comparable to their "good history of political relations" and to encourage investment between the two nations.
