Coal City University (CCU Scholarships) Essay Contest for Secondary School Students 2024
Nigerian secondary school students may now submit essays for City University's (CCU) 2022 essay contest. CCU is a non-profit private university.
This yearly essay contest aims to educate young people about contemporary world challenges. Additionally, it strives to promote young people's initiative and capacity for original thought in the direction of sustainable development. The essay contest also aims to educate society from the viewpoints of young people and to recognize that it is our shared obligation to address these concerns.
About Cool City University (CCU)
A private, not-for-profit university, Coal City University (CCU) was founded in 2016 in Enugu, Nigeria. The University is a rapidly expanding, globally focused university in Nigeria. The university strives to be a top-tier center for learning and research that will turn forth graduates who are well-rounded, enterprising, and marketable across the globe.
Aim and Benefits of CCU Essay competition
The following is a list of the prizes given to students who have successfully completed the following:
First Place: Certificate and a cash award of 500,000 Naira Scholarships for any program at Coal City University, including the full cost of tuition.
250,000 naira and a certificate make up the 2nd prize.
3rd Place: Certificate and a cash award of 150,000 Naira
All students who were shortlisted received certificates and consolation prizes.
If appropriate, further awards (such as the Best School Award and the School Incentive Award) will be granted.
Additional Details:
All shortlisted winners will receive invitations to an award event at Coal City University in Enugu.
⦁ On July 22, 2022, the shortlisted winners will be made known on the website ccu.edu.ng. Additionally, they will get an SMS.
Qualifications for the CCU Essay Competition
Anyone in a Senior Secondary School (SS1-SS3) may submit the essay.
The essay must be typed and should be between 700 and 1000 words long. The title of the essay and the author's name should be printed at the top of each page. The word count restriction does not contain your name or the essay's title.
There are no specific formatting guidelines (font style, size, line spacing, etc.).
Essays must be original; else, they will be rejected.
Essays written in collaboration with another author will not be accepted.
The organizer will be given the copyright for the submitted essays.
