The Obama/Chesky 2023 Voyager Scholarship to students worldwide.
The Obamas and Brian Chesky, co-founder and CEO of Airbnb, established the Voyager Scholarship to aid in the development of such leaders. Both the President and Brian, although coming from different backgrounds, think that opening oneself up to new environments and experiences fosters understanding, empathy, and cooperation, which empowers the next generation to effect genuine change.
This scholarship provides financial assistance to college students to lessen the burden of student loan debt, enriching travel opportunities to broaden their horizons, and a network of mentors and leaders to support them.
About Obama Foundation
Through a fundamentally shared set of principles and leadership competencies, the Obama Foundation Leaders: Africa initiative will inspire, develop, and connect up-and-coming leaders from all over the African continent. Together, they will develop a network of ethical changemakers, good role models, and innovators who are ready to address the most pressing issues facing their communities, nations, and continent. We're seeking for changemakers who have shown a dedication to improving the common good within their respective fields, whether they come from the government, civil society, the commercial sector, or anywhere else.
The Purpose and Advantages of the Obama/Chesky Voyager Scholarship
What is covered by the Voyager Scholarship for Public Service?
The student's senior year of high school will be the first to experience the newfound freedom of the Internet.
2. Summer Voyage: Between their junior and senior years of college, students who choose to participate will receive a $10,000 stipend and an Airbnb credit to go toward a summer work-travel experience.
3. Autumn Summit: Every autumn, students will be invited to a summit that will serve to inspire and define their path toward public service.
4. Network of leaders: Students will be invited to an ongoing speaker series throughout the course of the program, giving them access to a network of leaders. They will learn about new service opportunities and advancements taking place in their professions thanks to this network of leaders. After graduating, students will become a part of the global community of the Obama Foundation, which will make Foundation resources and programming available to them.
5. Ten-year travel stipend: Following graduation, Airbnb will give the students $2,000 in travel credits, accumulating $20,000 over the course of ten years. As a result, students will be able to keep expanding their horizons and making new contacts throughout their careers in public service.
Application-Required Documents
a complete and current transcript of grades. Not acceptable are grade reports. Transcripts have to show:

2. Name of school
3. Credit hours and grades for each course
4. The term each course was taken in
a replica of pages one and two of the most recent 1040 form, which was utilized to complete the application's financial part.
5. Provide financial details and the tax form from your parent(s) or guardian(s) if you are claimed as a dependant.
6. If you are self-employed, you must provide your tax form and financial details.
