Ghana defends its decision to return asylum seekers to Burkina Faso
Following a request by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees to stop deporting asylum seekers, Ghana defended its practice of doing so.
According to the Ghanaian Ministry of Defense, migrants and those suspected of terrorism are being sent back in compliance with international norms.
She also asserts that she is only returning the migrants with their permission.
The violence of terrorists is harming the nation of Burkina Faso.
Ghana is concerned that militants may take the chance provided by the refugees to enter its nation.
