His Majesty the Emir of Fika inaugurated the Eastern Dambuan Office
His Highness the Emir of Fika and Chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers of Yobe State, Dr. Muhammadu Ibn Abali Muhammadu Idrissa inaugurated the office of the East Damboa Chief in Potiskum last Saturday.
This ceremony to inaugurate the new office of the Chief of Damboa was held in a relaxed atmosphere where traditional dances and cultural exhibitions were held, after which His Highness the King of Fika officially opened the office.
In his welcoming speech, the Governor of Damboa East, Idris Musa Shehu, praised the support and cooperation of the Fika Potiskum Kingdom, which enabled the district governor to carry out activities that are necessary for the people, such as the drilling of boreholes for the benefit of the community and the like. .

He urged other districts that do not have offices to follow the example of Damboa East District to have offices where complaints and suggestions from the residents of the district will be received.
The Patriarch described the office as a way to connect the community with the Chief and the Council of the Kingdom.
While expressing his gratitude on behalf of the people of Damboa, Justice Usman Alhaji Musale praised the people of the area for their continuous support and cooperation to all the authorities established in the area.
