Hundreds of rebels have been arrested in Kenya
According to the Ministry of Interior, as citizens of Kenya came to the streets to demonstrate against the pressures of daily life, security officers detained more than 300 demonstrators.
Since March, protests have been led by opposition leader Raila Odinga, who has been pressing the administration on the state of the nation.
The protesters have reportedly started looting stores and torching government structures, according to Interior Minister Kithure Kindiki.
During his visit to Kericho, Kenyan President William Ruto asserted that the nation does not need to deal with violence.
The opposition leader is charged by the Kenyan government of inciting the strife that is going to erupt in the nation.
